These mosquitoes wished they had Admiral Ackbar’s innate skills of warfare. You’re looking at these guys being taken down by a virtual Death Star (lasers!1!). Designed by Nathan Myhrvold of Intellectual Ventures, this bad boy can track and destroy mosquitoes in mid-flight. Whether or not this thing will actually be used for its purpose to help reduce the spread of malaria in third-world countries is up for grabs. More than likely, all the fanboys will be buying these off eBay instead.
