Since its release on April 3rd, the iPad has taken the world by storm, including catching the interest of people’s pets. Although Iggy the Cat does a good job of playing the simulated piano, Chloe the Welsh Corgi finds offense within this new human toy. Mac versus PC, or is it simply the age-old debate of Cat versus Dog?
Believe it or not, the ratio of 7:1 years to calculate a dog’s age isn’t accurate at all. No wait, I can believe it — case in point: Labradors NEVER act their age. Well anyway, it turns out that even your dog’s weight class accounts for how quickly (or slowly) they’ll reach worm food. Looks like I’ll be stuck with my little dog for a looong time.
The original title was too epic to change. Flying. Dogs. What else do you need? Oh yeah, to watch this badass video made in complete slow-mo. You’ll never look at the way your dog jumps the same again.
Marine biologists at Duke University have discovered that sea urchins are basically big floating eyeballs. Essentially their tubed-feet and appendages contain light sensitive molecules that allow them to essentially use their whole body for sight.
Scientists had conjectured the spines of sea urchins might then help them pick out relatively fine visual details by screening out light from off angles. If this proved true, urchins with densely packed spines would have relatively sharp vision.
TL;DR, invest in monocles!
